Natural stone worktops are admirably fitted to their purpose. For kitchen worktops we advise a natural stone that is acid and scratch resistant, with low absorbency and porosity – so granite rather than marble. Furthermore, we can give workshops preventive treatment with a product that makes them water and grease repellent.
Maintenance and tips
Use only acid-free cleaning products for natural stone.
Some types of stone such as slate are reasonably grease repellent in themselves and have few pores, which makes maintenance simple and practical.
